Bio Sketch
Bojan Tomic is a PhD student at the Department of Information Systems and Technologies, FON - School of Business Administration, University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia. He received his B.S. degree in informatics and software engineering from the Department of Information Systems and Technologies, FON - School of Business Administration in 2005. He also recieved the award for the "Best Student Research Work in Technical Sciences" for 2005, granted by the University of Belgrade for his paper titled "JavaDON: An Open-source Expert System Shell". He is currently pursuing his PhD thesis in the area of expert system application in the business domain. He is a member of the GOOD OLD AI Research Network.

- 2009.-present JEFF (Java Explanation Facility Framework) - an open-source, free explanation facility framework written in Java.
- 2008.-2011. SOULWeb - A 3-year project, funded by the Government of the Republic of Serbia - Ministry of Science and Technical Development (project number 13002). The aim of this project is to develop a number of small-scale software tools for Web-enabled e-learning.
- 2007.-2009. M.Sc. CURRICULUM IN E-LEARNING - A 2-year international project, funded by TEMPUS agency (project JEP-41016-2006), with the objectives to enable high-quality and specialized education in the field of e-learning and to establish the new M.Sc. studies in e-learning according to the principles of the Bologna declaration.

2006.-2007. WELCON - EUROPEAN WELDING CONSULTANT TOOL - A project financed by the EUREKA network for market-oriented, industrial R&D, aiming at developing a virtual environment that shall be used as a hub for consulting services and education in the domain of welding technologies.
- 2004.-2005. JavaDON - Java-based open source expert system shell. Currently, it is used as a teaching aid in the Intelligent Systems module at FON.
